Debbie was given her first typewriter at the age of 11 and has been writing articles, poetry and short stories ever since. Her first article was published in a journal in 1979.
Born in London, but now living 400m from the North Sea, in a village in the Scottish Highlands, Debbie divides her time between writing, baking, painting and photography. She enjoys outdoor swimming, reading and growing vegetables.
Her first cookbook was published in 2019 and a slim volume of poetry followed shortly afterwards. She has written articles, recipes and short stories for on-line and off-line publications and is currently working on several major writing projects.
